Known as the surfers paradise, Praia do Rosa presents ideal characteristics for surfing, windsurfing and sailing. It boasts seven miles of sand, transparent waters and is surrounded by the lush green of the mountains covered with cacti and flowers. The half-moon shape of the beach naturally separated the northern and southern corners as the areas best suited for surfing. In the center is Lagoa do Meio, with salt water and quiet. Behind the hills are four lagoons also formed by the sea.
