Just a 15-minute bus ride JR Kofu Train Station, Kounbouyu, the oldest ryokan in this area, offers traditional Japanese-style rooms and 24-hour natural hot spring baths.

Features tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon bedding, rooms offer yukata robes and an electric kettle with green tea. There is also a seating area where breakfast and Kaiseki (multi-course) dinner is served. Bathroom facilities are shared.

Guests can enjoy soaking in the indoor baths available. Private hot spring baths can also be reserved. a vending machine dispensing drinks is available.

It is a 10-minute drive to Crystal Musem and a 13-minute drive to Takeda Shrine. A free pick-up service is available from JR Kofu Train Station to Koubouyu and needs to be requested at the time of reservation.
